Jake Paterson competed professionally on the World Surf League (WSL) tour for 11 years. Jake won the Pipe Masters, J-Bay, Sunset (twice) and finished 5th in the world in 2000 and 2001. Also called the super coach as Jake was coaching several WSL athletes, including 7x World Surfing Champion Steph Gilmore, Kanoa Igarashi, Griffin Colapinto, Ethan Ewing and many more professional surfers.
Online Surf Academy
The coaching videos at Online Surf Academy have been so helpful. I have been loving the surf skate video as I can practice at home when I can’t surf. My kids have started doing it with me and that’s been lots of fun. I would recommend this for all levels of surfer.

The combination of split screen comparison and digital drawing with a coach breaking down my turns is next level. Now I use my personalised coaching video before each surf to remind me what to work on.
